Jouwgroenteboer is a WooCommerce grocery shop where customers may browse fruit and vegetables by habit or need. Product freshness is important to the business, but the webshop still has to help people find items, understand quantities and move into the cart without making every product page feel identical.
The site therefore needed clear produce categories, useful product detail and straightforward quantity or cart actions. Mobile shopping matters because grocery orders are often built quickly and across many items, so navigation cannot rely on large text blocks. The portfolio story also had to avoid unsupported promises about freshness, stock, delivery or health benefits. The challenge was to make a simple online grocery journey efficient and readable while keeping product information specific enough to support a purchase.
I organised Jouwgroenteboer around fast category discovery and repeatable product decisions. Fruit, vegetables and related produce groups give shoppers a clear starting point, while product pages provide the quantity, price and relevant details needed before adding an item to the cart. The shopping path stays consistent so customers do not have to relearn controls for each product.
On mobile, category links, product cards, quantity choices and cart actions keep a compact order that supports building a larger grocery basket. I avoided claims about freshness, delivery time or health effects that require separate evidence. The portfolio case now explains how WooCommerce supports a practical produce shop with quick browsing and purchasing, rather than relying on generic ecommerce language or invented sales and customer outcomes.
